Where'd my car go? Oh wait, I'm in it.
Home at last (45 min later)
Got the engine in, JR20 swap. It's MDM.

Re: 1992 240SX Coupe Build
Been a little while since I posted, but here's a quick update:
Cleaned and fixed up what little interior I am putting back in to the car, that brown had to go. I'll have pics tomorrow. I got the engine in with some help from the Montano brothers (we needed the hoist to put the transmission back in Adam's car).
Ready for launch
A moment before their union
After standing on/hanging by the transmission we, shoe-horned it in. Some day, I will have a lift.
Had a little trouble finding the right transmission mount, but it's all in. Just gotta hook it all back up.

Re: 1992 240SX Coupe Build
It's up in Marlin for now. I didn't have anywhere to put it when I moved, so it's chillin for a bit up there. I'm hopefully gonna have a job tomorrow, so I can start getting more parts I need and get it down here with me.
*sigh* I miss it.

Re: 1992 240SX Coupe Build
Got the 240 in town now, got a list of things to get it legal:
- Exhaust : The previous owner cut out the cat, so I need a flange from the header and some pipe to the rest of the exhaust
- Seatbelt : I threw a huge pile of them away, I may have them laying around here... I hate the auto belts anyway though, will prob just get manual ones.
- Speedo : My digital one is out, but I have 3 so I will see about getting them to work.
- Parking lights : There's a short somewhere - they stay on no matter what
- Driver headlight : I'm missing the mounting hardware.
- Need two windows put back in, they're not illegal to have out, just inconvenient in the even of rain.
- Wipers : Missing the screws that hold the actual wiper mounts in place.
Some optional stuff I need to work on next:
- Solid motor mounts
- Paint : Nothin supah nice, just some consistency would be nice. On the inside as well...
- LSD : Gotta drop that bad-boy Cusco in
- Electric fans : stupid mechanical one takes up tons of room
- Second "radiator" and a snail...

Less time to sleep when you're actually getting stuff done
Possession of said pull up bar might do you some good.
