Haha yeah, I'm beat... words can't describe how much scraping out seam sealer sucks:

Re: 1992 240SX Coupe Build
Did some work on the bushings tonight...
I can NOT get that outer metal ring out though. I might need a press. Or something better to squeeze it with in the vise

Still going on this thing, I haven't given up, but I can't lie - stitching all the seams sucks. Finished the passenger cabin, working on the engine bay. I'll get some pics up after that part. I'm dreading doing the undercarriage...

Re: 1992 240SX Coupe Build
Well, let's see... been a while since I updated but here goes...
I got all the welding done in the rear section for the most part, there's still a few patches I gotta figure out how to get to, but that shouldn't take long. No pics of that yet...
Did all the suspension bushings, they're not supah hard once you figure out how to get them out easy:
Here are the subframes loaded up and ready to go to the car:
If you get the energy suspension bushings, get the grey/black ones. They're not as flashy, but they are graphite impregnated and thus somehwhat self-lubricating. I didn't know this when I got mine...
More to come tomorrow.

Re: 1992 240SX Coupe Build
Got her on the ground today:
This is without the weight of the engine and tranny, and I wanna go lower with a subtle body kit.

Re: 1992 240SX Coupe Build
Got stuff done, but only have one pic:
Replaced the boot around the base of the steering column, both of mine were falling apart
Got my rotors turned, installed and bled the brake system. E-brake is in as well.
More tomorrow...

Re: 1992 240SX Coupe Build
Sanctioning bodies have rules about cages - thickess, material, mounting, design, etc. We don't have a mandrel pipe bender or a tig welder... soooo I'm gonna have to save up for a cage

Re: 1992 240SX Coupe Build
