Buy my wheels instead lol. Just don't offer me WalMart giftcards or a bike rack.

Stay on topic. Take it to random thoughts if you want to say something else.

Re: need springs
skunk 2 is the best bang for the buck and gives a decent drop.

Re: need springs
skunk2 is what i had too... $176 shipped on ebay thats a good price... i would recommend that you get struts shortly after you invest in springs tho.. with all the miles those stock struts have gone through im sure being lowered like that is gonna make them blow quick

Re: need springs
The thing that kills the shocks on the 240s is bottoming out. Most of the bumpstops are rotted out from old age. If you scoops some of those up cheap and you avoid any and all potholes you *might* be ok for a bit, but I would definitely look into new shocks. I wouldn't go with just any old shock though, anything near OE replacement is gonna have the same problem - bottoming out.
Here's my recommendations from BEST to WORST:
A very popular option for auto-crossers/occasional road track style driving is Koni Yellows with Ground control sleeves, but they will put you near the cost of a lower end coil over setup.
Here's my recommendations from BEST to WORST:
- Koni Yellows - adjustable, rebuildable, re-valvable [if you can find a busted set cheap (free), I think it's like $120 each to have them redone.] Most expensive (but worth it)
- Tokico Blues (Tokico HP Shocks) - non-adjustable, but very high quality for the price
- KYB AGX - Adjustable, better than stock, but I heard they arent super durable... or the adjusters break... I don't remember exactly, I just remember hearing something sucked about them.
