    Here is my new toy...
Sold my little truck to buy this gas saver from a buddy.
    1990 mk2 VW Jetta gl 1.8L

Washed and waxed brought the paint back out..
In the process of removing the old tint.
    Plastidip the grill emblem.

    Future mods...
    coil overs
    Vr6 swap
    5spd swap
    Wheels

This car is my daily driver and the vr6 swap will come really slowly. I have to get all my ducks in a row and make the swap happen in a week!

    Swap progress -0%

    parts gathered -25% roughly
    Vr6 engine from mk4 - 124k with 1k on timing chains :-)
    mk3 obd2 intake
    mk3 down pipe

Will use the cat from my mk3 when I get a test pipe.

    Need.... mk3 front sub frame.
    Others.....

Yea lol... the power steering leaks all out. It messed up the control arm bushing badly but I put a different control arm on at Jesse's last weekend. The car is in great shape for it's age. Motor runs good and it drives me to work everyday. Perfect for a vr6 swap. This will happen its just going to be a while before I start it. I need to get the gti fixed back up as well as the Audi.

Have not done much, been poor... christmas messed up my finances. getting back on track by the end of this month for sure!

    Here is what has happened.
Brake master cylinder went out, replaced with a much lighter one.
flushed out the heater core. awesome but my thermostat is stuck open.. so its a very cold ride. i replaced the in line fuel pump with one from u pull it Smile all 4 windows tint is removed. rear window is .... 70% removed...

    heres whats happening tomorrow ...

Re-wiring all 6 stock speakers for an aftermarke-t radio install.
amp and sub install. nothing big.
    T-stat replacement.

    Soon to come...
Re-Locting the stereo to a lower position so a 3 gauge pod can take the oem location.

keith i have a handful of mini fuses if you need them the mk4 jetta is gone.

Took the hub caps off and sprayed the steelies..
