Ok, it's about time this project gets off the backburner and started. I'm looking at eventually having about 350-400 whp when it's all said and done. No outrageous power levels or expectations as this will be replacing my Lexus as my new DD. The engine of choice will be a EJ257 (USDM STi) short block mated to my EJ251 (USDM SOHC phase 2 EJ25) heads, a hybrid motor so to say. Parts ordered already include arp head studs, complete racing timing belt kit, brand new OEM STi oil pump, mishimoto racing thermostat, complete 2004 STi short block (minus stock crappy pistons), OEM STi head gaskets, and Hydra Stand alone EMS.
Still waiting to order pistons and other Misc stuff to mount the heads on the block and get it all put together. Will also need to order a wrx front crossmember, and of course all the fin things that comes with turboing a motor (BOV, FMIC, up and down pipes, exhaust, etc)
The civic is not on the backburner, still waiting on selling my wide body s13 before the civic gets finished up. But the civic will be seeing the paint shop really soon to finally freshen up that dull stock paint and to place the CF goodies on.
